Westwood Real Estate
The town of Westwood is an affluent community that was originally settled in 1641 as part of the town of Dedham. Later on in 1897 it had become its own separate town. Today, Westwood is an exceptional place to live. In fact, Money Magazine recently ranked Westwood 13th on its list of the 100 Best Places to Live in the United States. Westwood is also home to an excellent public school system. Students here consistently score in the top percentiles on national tests.
Westwood is also very accessible by car or rail. Routes 1, 93 and 95 are all nearby while residents who wish to travel to Boston by train can do so via the Providence/Stoughton MBTA commuter rail line.
